Unblock your nose!
Our hearts rest best when we breathe through our noses. Try a few things to unblock your nose before bed. A saline spray or rinse before blowing the nose can help a ton.

​Breathe silently through your nose for 10 minutes. This could be done during meditation, while listening to calming music or just on its own. Its basically pre-gaming for sleep.
If your nose gets dry try a little petrolium jelly or Ayr nasal gel in the nose. Dry noses don't filter the air well and they are uncomfortable. Replacing some moister will help the nose react less. That means it is less likely to over produce mucus. We want just enough to to the job, not too much, not too little.
